    主要研究方向

    單分子技術已成為研究生命科學的重要手段,其終極目標之一就是在體內實時觀測單分子包括生物大分子的運動,并以此在分子水平上理解生理條件下的細胞過程。我們單分子及活細胞超高分辨率成像實驗室的主要方向就是開創、發展和應用新的和現有的單分子技術,包括發展超高分辨率單分子熒光成像技術和單分子操作及力學測量技術,以在單分子水平上研究活細胞,如癌細胞和干細胞的基因表達和調控,進而推動癌癥治療和干細胞研究應用。運用超分辨成像和活細胞成像,我們將與其他BIOPIC的PI合作推進以下幾個方向的研究:(1)真核細胞如何利用和控制其基因轉錄和翻譯過程中的內在以及外部噪音;(2)解析染色質的結構,分布及其在基因轉錄中構型改變的動力學過程;(3)最終理解細胞基因表達中脈沖過程產生和調控的機理,并用于癌癥細胞以及干細胞分化機理的研究。
